The vets I have seen here were very kind and knowledgeable, however the communication from the team and instructions are poor. I was told to but specific food for my pet and that I could buy it online. I tried to order it online and the website said they would reach out to the vet for authorization. They never did the authorization. When I called they told me they don't work with 3rd party vendors and I would have to come in for the prescription. I asked if they could email it to me and they said they don't do that. I asked why nobody mentioned I needed a prescription for the food when I was at the office and they couldn't tell me.When my pet had surgery there and I picked her up I asked the vet tech who brought her out if there were any instructions or things I should look out for she just mumbled and said no she didn't think so. I had to look up online what I should do for my pet who had just been under anesthesia. I didn't want to change my vet because I do really like the doctor but after both these issues I'm looking for a new one.
Pleasant front desk experience.Prompt service, no waiting.Attention to detail.Compassionate care.
My cat died to malpractice. This place sucks
Staff is very helpful and attentive to details, answering any questions we always have and doing the best for our pet's care at every visit.
The staff is nice. They always take care of my Sunday. Expensive though but so is everyone else.
When I 1st came in I was greeted. Clean office. Waiting time was under 15 minutes. I called the office for the 1st time and immediately they gave me same day appointment. Dr.Musa was gentle to my precious senior cat and informative of his diagnosed. Also there an app where you van book online appointment and record of your pet (patient portal) I like that and definitely I recommend Essex Animal Hospital for the care of your precious fur baby/babies.
I trust my cat, "Spice".
They take excellent care of all of our animals and are very responsive to requests.
