Payment
Our goal at Essex Animal Hospital is to provide high-quality veterinary care to your pets and to continue to do that we also must operate as a business. Therefore, we require that full payment be made at the time services are provided. If your pet needs to be admitted to the hospital, we will provide you with a written estimate of anticipated fees and will require a sufficient deposit prior to beginning treatment, with the balance to be paid at discharge.
Please remember this is only an estimate and since your pet’s medical needs may change. We will also always keep you informed if we anticipate any significant changes to your pet’s treatment cost.
For your convenience, we accept a variety of payment methods including:

- Personal checks with sufficient identification.
We accept all forms of pet insurance, as well as interest-free financing and payment plans to qualified individuals using a Citi Health Card or through CareCredit. If you have any financial concerns, please consult a staff member before any services have been performed.
